Here Come The Warm Jets (2004 Digital Remaster), Audio CD, Original recording remastered, June 1, 2004. Of course, it is really anything but a ‘solo’ album, Eno putting together a consortium of over a dozen musicians (notably including all of Roxy except Ferry), selected for their very diversity, and penning 10 songs which together show just how versatile Eno the composer could be. These are generally Out of Print once they are pressed and are exact replicas of the 12 inch vinyl LP! It was just too bizarre. This album is absolutely up to that standard. Get 3 for the price of 2. This is a great album and suggests what Roxy Music might have done if the other Bryan had left. Having made a distinctive and telling contribution to Roxy Music’s first two albums, only to split from the band (due to ‘musical differences’ with Brian Ferry) the previous year, Brian Eno released this 1974 solo debut album and Here Come The Warm Jets remains to this day a refreshing and inspirationally diverse set of songs.
